By November, Eek! had completed the scripts for the characters Arin and Dan, and had submitted them for Hanson and Avidan's approval, with VA to follow. In October 2019, Eek! began revealing teasers for the Game Grumps content. Eek! announced on November 2 that the Game Grumps won the male category, while model and game streamer Lety Does Stuff won in the female category. They quickly dominated the voting, having already received 32% of the overall votes by the time of their announcement and having 67% of the vote as of October 15. On October 3, the Game Grumps announced that they had submitted their own entry into the contest, with the intent of donating the prize money to RAINN. Shortly after the contest was announced, a fan entered Dan into the contest, but the entry was disqualified by Eek!, as the contest rules required entrants to be submitted with permission of the entrant (i.e.: not by a third party). On September 27, Eek! Games announced a contest for fans to audition to join the cast of House Party with a $1000 cash prize for the winners, with one winner each in male and female categories. In this playthrough a number of popular running gags were introduced, most notably Arin and Dan doing exaggerated impressions of Frank's catchphrase "How's it going, dude?" By June 4 the show had released a total of 20 episodes about the game. On March 27, 2018, Game Grumps released the first of many videos featuring Hanson and Avidan playing House Party. Since 2016, Hanson and Avidan have performed a live stage show called Game Grumps Live. Dan Avidan joined the series as co-host in 2013, following Jafari's departure. The show was started by Arin Hanson and Jon Jafari in 2012. Game Grumps is a Let's Play series on YouTube.
